Breen Family

Meeting the Breen Family for the first time, I swooned hearing them speak with their British accent. They’re a very lovely family with spirited children who are so very photogenic!

DIY Planter Shelf

My husband and I recently moved into this apartment 3 months ago in Costa Mesa with a balcony that he’s always wanted but lacked the privacy that comes with living in apartments designed to pack in as many tenants as possible. He came up with an idea to line the perimeter with a mini bamboo fence and to recycle an indoor shelf we had at the old apartment. With a few more planks of wood, paint, screws, metal hinges and time to design a shelf that would work for our space AND give us the privacy we liked, we embarked on our first DIY project together. I admit that my husband has more of the interior design and landscaping inclination than I so he designed the shelf but I did the planning, measuring and implementing. Go Team! 🙂 We are very pleased with how it turned out! Much summertime to enjoy grilling and relaxing on our new and improved balcony!

And yes…that green is astroturf! “It’s better than walking on cold dirty concrete!” says my husband. 🙂

Rocco’s Pizza|Fountain Valley, CA

I consider pizzas and sandwiches to be THE perfect balanced food. It has the grain, the dairy, the protein and the veggies (if you order the special with all the fixin’s). I know pizza lovers out there can relate to my enthusiasm. I’m always up for some pizza! Who’s with me?! My cousin-in-law’s pizzeria in Fountain Valley is a little hole in the wall place that serves the said “balanced food.” 🙂 I recently caught the ladies behind the counter who make the pizzas during rush hour and they are a well-oiled machine! Efficient, hard-working, generous with the cheese (that’s what pizzas all about, right?) AND friendly. If these photos don’t get your mouth watering and tummy rumbling for some pizza right now, I don’t know what will. Feast your eyes on 2010’s Reader’s Choice Winner of Best Pizza in Fountain Valley!

Chicken Pesto Pizza…drool…

My cousin-in-law hard at work making some fugazzeta pizza. What’s a Fugazzeta pizza you ask? Well, it’s an onion pizza with ham filled crust! Whaaaat?! Right?! Must try it folks! It’s not on the menu but you can order it.

Anybody up for an 18″ giant pizza? (raises hand)

Antipasto salads are yummylicious!

Check out their site Rocco’s Pizza, they’ve got printable coupons and specials going on all the time! Stop by and order a pie or anything on the menu this weekend! 17098 Magnolia Street, Fountain Valley, CA 92708

Realtor Celeste Haybittle

One of the greatest thing about being a photographer is documenting the different stages of a person’s life. It was amazing to see Celeste again after nearly 2 years since her wedding. Look at her beautiful courthouse wedding images through the hyperlink. I’ve known Celeste since theatre college days and she was such a talent! and a genuinely nice human being. She is now a realtor and am so honored to have taken her professional headshots. Check out her blog here Celeste Haybittle Blog. Congrats and much success to you, Celeste!
